About me

I was born in Colombia in the early 1970s. Looking back, my life has been less about following a predetermined path and more about continuously discovering new interests, talents, and ways to connect with the world. In 1990, I completed my mandatory military service. Later, I earned a degree in Business Administration. It took me thirteen years to graduate, a fact that often makes me laugh today. Perhaps it took so long because I wasn't truly passionate about the subject, but the journey taught me perseverance and the importance of finishing what I start.During that time, I spent twelve years working in the banking industry. From the outside, it seemed like a stable and successful career, but over time I realized that the traditional 9 to 5 lifestyle wasn't fulfilling me. The routine left me feeling disconnected from the things that genuinely inspired me, and eventually I decided it was time for a change. That decision opened the door to discovering parts of myself I didn't know existed.I began creating stained glass artwork and spent several years exploring the craft. I loved the combination of creativity, patience, and problem-solving that stained glass required. Later, searching for a medium that offered greater flexibility and freedom, I transitioned into leatherworking. Both experiences allowed me to create, learn, and share my work through dedicated blogs documenting my journey. In 2012, I moved to California and began another important chapter of my life.Since then, I have worked primarily as a caregiver, supporting seniors, many of whom were living with dementia. This work has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Spending time with people in the later stages of life has changed the way I see the world. It has taught me patience, compassion, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for what is truly important. It has also encouraged me to question many assumptions about success, happiness, and how we choose to spend our time.Along the way, I discovered another unexpected passion: dance. Since 2017, I have regularly participated in high-energy cardio dance classes. What began as a fun way to exercise quickly became much more. Dance gave me a new way to express myself, communicate emotions, and connect with my body through movement. It remains one of my favorite forms of exercise and personal expression. My interest in movement eventually led me to fitness coaching. In 2023, I earned a fitness coach certification and launched a YouTube channel dedicated to simple bodyweight workouts. My goal is to show that staying active doesn't require expensive equipment, a gym membership, or large amounts of free time. I believe consistency is far more important than perfection, and that even a few minutes of daily exercise can create meaningful long-term benefits.Another passion I discovered later in life is drawing. During the pandemic, I challenged myself to create one doodle every day. What started as a simple daily exercise evolved into a creative practice that lasted nearly two years and revealed yet another side of myself I hadn't fully explored before.Travel has also become an important part of my life. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, spending time in nature, and learning from local communities. Rather than visiting crowded tourist attractions, I prefer quieter places where I can experience everyday life, build genuine connections, and better understand different ways of living.Today, my interests and work span several areas: caregiving, fitness coaching, content creation, travel, drawing, leatherworking, stained glass art, and dance. While they may seem unrelated, they all share a common thread: curiosity, creativity, personal growth, and a desire to keep learning.I believe many of our talents remain hidden until we give ourselves permission to explore something new. My own journey has taught me that it is never too late to discover a new passion, develop a new skill, or reinvent yourself.I am always open to new opportunities, collaborations, creative projects, travel experiences, and meaningful conversations. Whether through caregiving, fitness, art, content creation, or something completely unexpected, I look forward to continuing to learn, contribute, and discover what comes next.

fitness

In 2023, I became a certified fitness coach after completing the 10X Fitness program by Mindvalley, a science-based training approach focused on achieving long-term health and fitness through short, efficient workouts. The program emphasizes consistency, functional movement, strength, mobility, and sustainability rather than spending endless hours in the gym. One of the ideas that resonated with me the most was that meaningful results can come from small but consistent efforts over time.Inspired by that philosophy, I started my YouTube channel to share simple and accessible workout routines designed for modern life — especially for people who feel they don't have enough time to exercise. Most of my workouts are short, require little or no equipment, and can be done in small spaces using mainly bodyweight exercises. My goal is to help people understand that movement does not need to be complicated to be effective. Even a few minutes of exercise each day can improve energy, mood, mobility, strength, and overall well-being when practiced consistently.Another important part of my fitness journey has been dance. Since 2017, I have regularly participated in high-energy cardio dance classes and discovered in dance a completely different way to connect with movement and express myself through my body. Dance became not only a form of exercise, but also a source of joy, creativity, and emotional expression. For me, fitness and dance complement each other beautifully: workouts build strength, discipline, and physical resilience, while dance brings freedom, rhythm, energy, and connection. Together, they have helped me create a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.Through my content, I hope to encourage people to stay active in realistic and sustainable ways, proving that even in a busy modern world, movement can still be part of everyday life.
