About me

I was born in Colombia in the early 1970s. Looking back, my life has been less about following a predetermined path and more about discovering new interests, talents, and ways to connect with the world. In 1990, I completed my mandatory military service. Later, I earned a degree in Business Administration—a journey that took thirteen years. Shortly afterward, I spent twelve years working in the banking industry. Although it provided stability, I eventually realized that the traditional 9-to-5 lifestyle wasn't the right fit for me.That realization led me to explore new creative paths. I spent several years creating stained glass artwork before transitioning into leatherworking, seeking greater flexibility and freedom. Both experiences inspired me to create blogs where I shared my work and learning process. In 2012, I moved to California and began working primarily as a caregiver, supporting seniors, many living with dementia. This work has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, teaching me patience, compassion, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for what truly matters.Since 2017, dance has been another important part of my life. High-energy cardio dance classes introduced me to a new way of expressing myself through movement while staying active and having fun.My passion for movement eventually led me to become a certified fitness coach in 2023. Inspired by the 10X Fitness philosophy, I launched a YouTube channel focused on short, practical bodyweight workouts that can be done anywhere, even with limited time and no equipment. My goal is simple: to help people stay active through consistency rather than perfection.During the pandemic, I discovered another passion—drawing. What began as a daily doodle challenge evolved into a creative habit that lasted nearly two years and revealed a new artistic side of myself.I also love traveling, connecting with people, and spending time in nature. I am usually more interested in local experiences and meaningful conversations than in traditional tourist attractions.Today, my work and interests include caregiving, fitness coaching, content creation, travel, drawing, leatherworking, stained glass art, and dance. While these pursuits may seem different, they are all connected by curiosity, creativity, personal growth, and a desire to keep learning.I believe it is never too late to discover a new passion, develop a new skill, or reinvent yourself. I'm always open to new opportunities, collaborations, projects, and experiences, and I look forward to seeing where the journey leads next.

fitness

In 2023, I became a certified fitness coach after completing the 10X Fitness program by Mindvalley, a science-based training approach focused on achieving long-term health and fitness through short, efficient workouts. The program emphasizes consistency, functional movement, strength, mobility, and sustainability rather than spending endless hours in the gym. One of the ideas that resonated with me the most was that meaningful results can come from small but consistent efforts over time.Inspired by that philosophy, I started my YouTube channel to share simple and accessible workout routines designed for modern life, especially for people who feel they don't have enough time to exercise. Most of my workouts are short, require little or no equipment, and can be done in small spaces using mainly bodyweight exercises. My goal is to help people understand that movement does not need to be complicated to be effective. Even a few minutes of exercise each day can improve energy, mood, mobility, strength, and overall well being when practiced consistently.Another important part of my fitness journey has been dance. Since 2017, I have regularly participated in high-energy cardio dance classes and discovered in dance a completely different way to connect with movement and express myself through my body. Dance became not only a form of exercise, but also a source of joy, creativity, and emotional expression. For me, fitness and dance complement each other beautifully: workouts build strength, discipline, and physical resilience, while dance brings freedom, rhythm, energy, and connection. Together, they have helped me create a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.Through my content, I hope to encourage people to stay active in realistic and sustainable ways, proving that even in a busy modern world, movement can still be part of everyday life.
